H-shaped lifting beams
Another type of spatial lifting beams are H-shaped lifting beams. These are used when 4 or more rectangularly arranged attachment points are to be used on the load. If the lifting points of the spreader beam are adjustable, they can also be set so that the crane hook receiver is positioned above an asymmetrically positioned load center of gravity. This is often necessary to ensure that the load hangs horizontally. A torsionally rigid design is required for H-shaped lifting beams with asymmetrical loads!
